Please pray for woman needing help and frustrated by lack of Catholic response

Please pray for a tearful parishioner who called asking for help, saying that I was her last hope for trying to find help, frustrated that her earlier efforts to get fellow Catholics to help her went nowhere. She has seen her other Protestant friends get help from their churches and she was thinking it may be time to leave the Church and go to a nice Protestant church.

She just seemed at like she was really frustrated and honestly I know why she is frustrated. It seems like I can’t get volunteers to do much at our parish either, but I told her that no Protestant church, as enviable as their zeal for Christ is, can replace the Eucharist.

Please pray for her and please pray for me that I find the help she needs as I really don’t even know where to begin.

Hi all-

Thanks for your prayers. It seems this woman is mentally disturbed in some way but on the bright side, many people in the parish have indeed helped her now and in the past.

She obviously needs help that the people in our parish can’t provide. Please do continue to pray for her.
