Please pray...relationship problems

Dear all,

I feel messed up being in this relationship with this guy. He showed me he love me a week ago and now…he makes me feel that our relationship is going down the hill…he’s starting leave me hanging in btw messages and i won’t hear from him then. But he already stole my heart and here’s the prob. I don’t know what’s going on btw us now…please pray for me…for guidance and strenght. for all things to work well btw us. thank you very much.

Lord please comfort pinkpatels in her sadness. :console:
Lord, please help pinkpatels to grow stronger in herself, and please guide her to choose and to handle relationships in the wisest possible way. Please help her to recognise and wisely pursue a relationship that is to her true good and the true good of the other person, someone genuine, mutually caring, responsible, and wise.
Thank You Lord. Again I ask You to comfort her.

Dear all…i thank you so much for your prayers. I’ve been praying really hard myself…novena to st jude, st theresa…st dwynwen…and i feel like im losing faith because i don’t see any improvement. I haven heard from him for days. So I think its not God’s will for this relation to work out. I have yet to receive any roses from st theresa too…

I’m really really depress right now. I just hope that you’ll pray for the speedy recovery of my broken heart and that i will get over him and be able to concentrate on my exams which is in a month’s time.

Dear pinkpatels God definitely answers our prayers and sends help with or without our knowledge. We need not even ask him to grant what we want. He knows what is best for us under the circumstances we are in.

Very often he does not give us what we ask for and this may even lead us to despair. But be assured many years later we will realize what he did was indeed right and for our good.

If we really trust in His will, we will be satisfied with whatever answer we receive. Our frustration arises when we think that we know whats better for us than God. We decide how our prayers should be answered and are not pleased when the Lord’s answer may differ from ours. While Jesus does promise that we will receive an answer when we ask (Mt 7:8), He doesn’t promise that we will get what we ask for…Instead, He promises that we will get what we need . Jesus assures us of this when He states, “Which one of you would hand his son a stone when he asks for a loaf of bread, or a snake when he asks for a fish?

We should append our prayer requests with, “if it is your will.” If we truly mean what we say, we’ll have no problem accepting whatever God sends…even if it wasn’t what we asked for. The ultimate example of praying in this manner was given by Our Lord as he suffered in the garden prior to His arrest and crucifixion. His prayer shows us the art of praying in union with the will of the Father. “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; yet, not as I will, but as you will.” (Mt 26:39)
The next time that you are tempted to say that God doesn’t answer your prayers, remember that He can answer in a few different ways — “Yes”, “No” or “Not yet” are all valid answers! Therefore, when we complain that God doesn’t answer our prayers, don’t we really mean, “God doesn’t answer my prayers…the way that I want”?

Lord, help me to trust in your perfect will for my life. May I always be content with your answers to my prayers, even if I don’t understand them. Amen.

O Lord, Holy Father, omnipotent and eternal God, I give You thanks and I bless Your holy name. I know I’m a poor miserable sinner but hear a cause that is just, turn your ear to my prayer. Amen
