Please pray to give him stength

Please can you pray for my friend - he is a 16 yr homosexual who gets hassled for his sexuality. This on top of the usual strains of teenage life is making him lose the will to live and has self harmed before.
Please pray for him to find his hope and regain his faith, as he feel God has left him and damned him because of his sexuality and his sins surrounding that issue.
Please pray for him to have the strength to carry on and for help to find him.
