Please pray with me in my time of need

Hello,

I’m new here, and I kind of feel bad about the reason why I joined. I’d like to first start off by saying while I’m not baptized, I did grow up in a catholic household and attended church in my younger years, I have also been trying to rediscover my connection with God and had thought about joining a Catholic forum to ask some questions about things I still don’t completely understand. Anyway, today something bad happened to me. I was away from home and left my window open just a crack and my cat managed to fit through and escaped my home. I’ve had this cat for 5 years and he is like my baby. I searched the whole neighborhood for 6-7 hours and haven’t found him. I know this sounds ridiculous but I was hoping I could reach out to others and ask to pray with me for my cat to return home.

I do understand there are more serious issues happening in the world right now but I can’t imagine my life without him.

If you could, please pray for my baby to come back.

I just joined and asked for prayers too. I pray your cat returns. Can you put his litter box and a few things that smell like home at your window or outside
 
Thank you for your response and prayer. I placed his litter, a little bit of food his blanket and one of my shirts with my scent on it outside. My only hope now is God hears our prayers and he comes home after it gets dark.

Thank you dearly. As I was reading your comment I saw a cat on my security camera that looked a lot like my baby, I went outside to go have a look but it wasn’t him. Again, thank you so much for your prayer. God bless.

Thank you @drac16 The lord works in mysterious ways, I believe he gave me a sense of clarity and I was able to think of a place to search for my cat. It’s too dark to go now but I will go have a look when the sun comes up. God bless you.
