We are having extreme financial issues. I’m self employed (plumbing contractor) and business in slow. To compound the problem customers are slow about paying or not paying at all. My wife has been a stay at home mom for the last 6 years. We have decided that she must seek employment outside the home. She is having problems finding employment. We would like her to get hired at my son’s school, but at this point we will take anything. Please help us pray for our miracle.

Prayer to St. Joseph for Employment

Dear St. Joseph, you were yourself once faced with the responsibility of providing the necessities of life for Jesus and Mary. Look down with fatherly compassion upon me in my anxiety over my present inability to support my family. Please help me to find gainful employment very soon, so that this heavy burden of concern will be lifted from my heart and that I am soon able to provide for those whom God has entrusted to my care. Help us to guard against bitterness and discouragement, so that we may emerge from this trial spiritually enriched and with even greater blessings from God.

Lord, please help this family. Please help Hoxbar’s wife to find good employment and help Hoxbar’s clients to pay him. May this family place all their confidence in You and be surrendered to whatever You are permitting them to go through right now. May they suffer patiently and lovingly, and may they keep persevering in faith. Keep them strong in faith, hope and love and give them consolations when they pray and receive You in the sacraments. Thank you Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.
