I know the conditions that are required in order to receive a plenary indulgence, but how long a time can there be between your Communion and the act that gains the indulgence? I know that for Confession the time limit is 8 days, but what about Communion? Does it have to be on the same day as the act that gains the indulgence? Thank you. 🙂

My understanding is that the communion and prayer for the Pope’s intentions both have to be done on the same day as the act which gains the indulgence.

8 days, by the way, is for the First Saturdays devotion (which also requires confession on or around the First Saturday of each month). For a plenary indulgence there isn’t really a set amount of time within which the confession has to be done.
