Pls pray for the soul of a priest

On my ramblings through the Internet I discovered the obit of a priest. He was from an area I know well, and he served at three parishes I’ve attended, two of which he founded and one of which he supervised the building of, from the ground up, including a church, a hall, and a school. He was pastor there for a long time. Then he was pastor emeritus. I never knew him because when I came to the area, he was getting sent over the state line to another diocese, where he helped in some churches there for a few years. And then he got really old and was sent to the local old priests’ home for a while till he died, around the same time I was just starting to regularly attend Mass again.

A few years later, when he’d been deceased for a few years already, he showed up on the Archdiocesan list as having “a credible allegation”. Edited to note that it was apparently true, as I found more info that he self-reported it, and was sent to a life of prayer and penance because he was already old.

If you would please say a prayer for his soul. I had a feeling looking at his obit maybe he could use a prayer. Thank you.
