Police searching for Rosie O’Donnell’s daughter - AP

NEW YORK (AP) – Police are searching for Rosie O’Donnell’s 17-year-old daughter Chelsea, who has not been seen since leaving the family’s home north of New York City last Tuesday.

O’Donnell’s daughter left the house with a therapy dog. She has not been taking needed medication, according to O’Donnell’s spokeswoman, Cindi Berger.

“Chelsea, like millions of people, lives with mental illness. It has been a difficult road for Chelsea and her family and they just want her back safe.” Berger said.
