This is rather amazing that 41% don’t think a baby is a human life. 19% think life begins at birth. Good job public schools. 😦

Poll: 59% Say Abortion Ends a Human Life

Federal candidates who make abortion rights an important part of their election platform this year and in 2008 may find themselves swimming against the current of American political thinking, a new Zogby Interactive survey shows.

The survey, commissioned by Associated Television News and The O’Leary Report, included 30,117 respondents in the 48 contiguous states, and was conducted from March 10-14, 2006. It carries a margin of error of +/- 0.6 percentage points.

The poll included 20 questions on abortion pertaining to activity on the state or federal level

That is shocking and disgusting. When are people going to wake up and realize the truth? Or perhaps they’ll never wake up. 😦

I have a feeling this poll is inaccurate. If it is, we sure have a lot of dumb people in this country. If it’s not human, what is it? a fish?

Well, at least the majority still say that abortion ends a human life. But still, I would expect a much more significant majority.

I agree. Wasn’t Zogby the pollsters that predicted that Kerry would win from the exit polls? They are well known, but I don’t know how accurate they are.

I don’t believe there is any such thing as an accurate poll.

however, they do indicate ‘tendencies’ at times. I belive this poll shows a positive tendency of the American people towards a pro-life stance. The poll in itself is inconclusive; but look at all the other signs liek the walk for life where the pro-lifers where overwhelmingly superior in number.

People are gradually learning the truth, and I think it is a simple matter of time before the US outlaws abortion - and I will welcome that day.
