Then they ought not to have voted for Obama, yet they did.
Excellent point.

It’s a done deal, not a matter of “if” a pro-abortion candidate is nominated but rather “who”. It’s disturbing to see the “catholic” Jenny Granholm from my state on the short list.

“I personally am against abortion but am sworn to uphold the law of the land” is a lame excuse. Perhaps “I just used my Catholic faith to get Catholic votes, but then abandon my values when I got elected, preferring man’s law to that of the Almighty’s” is better.

They must not have known what they were voting for.
i buy that argument as much as i can throw my dermatology teacher(350+lb man) and that aint far.

obama has done exactly what he promised-death and socialism.

now im glad people are reconsidering, and im glad even a few democrats have threatened filabustering if he appoints someone who does too much deciding based on feelings and not the law, but i fear too little too late.

our best bet is years of prayer and fasting, and a serious change in the way we vote in '10 and '12

I’m not worried. All those pro-life Democrats who were voted in in the mid-term are going to bottle up the appointment because, after all, they are pro-life. Right?
