Poll: Americans Wanting Roe Abortion Case Overturned Hits New High

Washington, DC – A new Washington Post-ABC News poll finds the percentage of Americans saying they want the Roe v. Wade ruling that allowed abortion on demand overturned has reached a new high. Meanwhile, Americans say the current Supreme Court, which has a 5-4 pro-abortion majority, is too liberal.

I think your post is a bit misleading; the number who want it overturned is higher than it used to be, but is still a full 22% less than the number who want it kept.

Also, just 26% of Americans in this poll thought the court was too liberal; 21% too conservative; 46% balanced. This is quite far from “Americans say the Court is too liberal.”

Unfortunately I do not think it will ever be overturned…the political football is a gamewinner for both sides…now if we could take the politicans out of it there may be a chance but that is not an option…the other option is prayer…

What irks me about RvW is that such an amazingly important decision was made by five men in a court room. Something like abortion should be decided by the public. Even if it was voted by the public as a-okay, at least then the Pro-Life movement would have a good idea about how many minds they have to educate.

It is said that the only poll that matters is on election day.
