Poll: Best starting point for atheists?

I realize different approaches are best for different people, but this is just a quick, not too in-depth poll. What is the best starting point argument for most atheists? It doesn’t have to be the most thorough or the strongest, but just a good starting point.

I tend to favor the Kalam argument. What’s yours?

My son used to go on an athiest website. He said that the 2nd law of thermodynamics would do it every time as far as they never had a response for that. I think in VERY layman terms it’s something about you can’t get something out of nothing. I talked to the physics professor at the university my husband teaches at and he agreed with this–he said he is “no Bible thumper” but the 2nd law refutes athiesm totally. He even said he starts his lecture on it with the example of a coffee cup falling off the table and shattering into a million pieces. What are the chances of it putting itself back together in one hour, one week, one year, one million years, one billion years.
