Just wondering how many of you are going to see the Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe which is comming out December 9?

As for me, I rarely go to the movies, but I will be going to this one.

There’s actually a ballet interpretation of it playing in my area this weekend.

My birthday is coming up in 9 days, and I might go with my husband to see it while my parents babysit our one-year-old. My parents are going to see it when it comes out and then they will recommend us seeing it or not. And of course, it also depends on how our son is feeling, because if he’s miserable teething, he’ll probably want me around 🙂

I love these biblically inspired movies coming out! (Passion, LOTR and Narnia) Not only do they NOT have negative messages (sex, drugs, homosexuality, ect. . .), they actually have good messages.Yay - I love when the mainstream media supports my beliefs!

I have never read any of the books, but I saw it today in a packed theater. I thought it was entertaining.

My two biggest problems with it was that I couldn’t help but compare it to the Lord of the Rings movies, and I have trouble getting into movies with animals (even CGI ones) as lead characters.

Love LOTR and will see Narnia! I think writing wise, Lewis is much more approachable than Tolkien. Ironic too that I much perfer the writings of the guy who once was an athiest over a life long Catholic, who went all the way around the block to get to his point where Lewis is just straightforward. 😛

Im planning on buying the complete unabridged version of all the stories in one big volume. I think its over 800 pages long. Im also planning on seeing the movie after the big opening weekend and when its less crowded.

I’m chomping at the bit to go, but probably won’t get the chance until after Christmas–we’re just so busy this year. Sigh!

Absolutely, positively, no doubt about it.

My big problem will be sitting in the theater saying “Um, that’s not what happened in the book.” “That’s not what was said.” “Why did they take that out?” :o :o :o I recommend that none of you sit near me in the theater.

The movie is excellent. I don’t know if they could have made it much better. The best part in my mind was looking for the religious symbolism. There’s a lot of it in there.

I would like to see it tiday, but I can’t get a babysitter and we have a bunch of commitments this weekend. Maybe I can get to it next weekend.

We mostly see movies once they’re on dvd, and then we get them from the library. But this is one we have to see on the big screen.

Go see it!

I saw it at midnight when it came out; loved it, and am going to go see it again

I went to the 11:00 AM showing and enjoyed it immensely. In my opinion it captured the book better than I thought it would.

I cant wait until Thursday! Im coming home from school and am going to take my little brother out to see it.

Definitely going to get the DVD. And all the others if they’re done too.
