The poll on this forum asked if protestanism needs to be “stamped out.” Of course it needs to be stamped out. IT IS A HERSEY THAT CAN AND MAY HAVE LEAD COUNTLESS SOULS TO HELL. THE COUNCIL OF TRENT WAS A COUNCIL THAT DEAL SPECIFICALLY WITH THE HERESY OF PROTESTANISM… WE SHOULD PRAY AND WORK TOWARD THE CONVERSION OF EVEY SINGLE PROTESTANT SO THAT THIS HERSEY CEASES TO EXIST.

only catholics in heaven–yes—the church teaches that there is no salvation outside the church–one can be saved if he is invincibly ignorant of the fqith and seeks to do God’s will to the best of his ability—
