Actually I often go to the Mission Church in my Parish. The original Church was built in the 1850s. That is where I was married, and where daughter was Baptized. But often times for Mass or Confession I go to the more modern Mission Church. I go to both, but probably more often to the Mission Church for Mass. I love the original Church though. It is very special to me.
Mission church buildings (tied to another Parish Church) are technically chapels, though in America (I don’t know about other English speaking places) we don’t typically call them “chapels.”
