You assume I am American (I am), but what if I wasn’t a US citizen? I really couldn’t answer your question in that situation. Remember, not everyone on CAF is American.

I have hopes that Pres. Trump will win re-election. We see a respectable amount of BIDEN/HARRIS posters on lawns and cars, but many lawns/cars have no signs. I would not post a TRUMP/PENCE sign on my lawn or car because I’m fairly certain my lawn/car would be vandalized. I think a lot of others feel the same way. They’re keeping their voting plans under wraps for their own safety. So that means a lot of TRUMP/PENCE voters, I think.

It’s interesting how Trump detractors are willing to disrupt a sacred act (the President and First Lady paid their solemn respects to Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg yesterday, and people in the crowd booed him), while those opposed to Vice Pres. Biden and Sen. Harris stay relatively silent except in various opinions pieces in local newspapers and online. Perhaps I’ve missed stories about hecklers at BIDEN/HARRIS rallies?

We’ve had one incident of a stolen BIDEN/HARRIS sign in our city, but that could have been self-inflicted for the publicity? Or it could have been an immature person doing a foolish, mean-spirited act. That’s it so far in our city, and I hope it stays this way. But I still won’t post a TRUMP/PENCE sign in my yard. I like my windows.

You are correct. People are afraid to post Trump signs for fear of vandalism. My wife even suggested that I take down the American flag from my front porch for this very reason. She has been voting democratic most of her life, until now. She refuses to succumb to these bully tactics
of her former party and is voting for Trump.
 
I live in a solid republican county and Trump signs are everywhere. Biden’s, not so much. Most reports of sign removals have been Biden supporters but there have been Trump ones, too. Recommendations are to put your signs between the front door and screen or porch door as it’s usually still visible from the street but you can lock your porch doors.

I don’t have a screen door on my front door so I just don’t post any signs. Even signs supporting amendments are being stolen. I just think America is so divided that everyone is being silenced in some respect or another.
