I am looking for some religous music. I havn’t been able to find any. Most of the stuff that I find are ussally rather slow and dry. Does anyone know of any 94.1/106.1 style religous music? Thanks and God bless.

There is some awesome Christian Bands out there.
My current favorite is Shane& Shane, but it depends on what ur style is. Klove does have some good options.
Here’s a list of my personal favorites: Third Day, Jeremy Camp, Building 429, David Crowder Band, Delerious, DC Talk, Natalie Grant, Shaun Groves, Jars of Clay, Kutless, Jennifer Knapp, Newsboys, Nicole Nordeman, Bebo Norman, Chris Rice, Salvador, Sonic Flood, Mathew West…yeah thats all I can think of off the top of my head, but there is a ton more out there and they are all so awesome! I’d suggest u check these ones out and go searching for more. Do u have a Christian Book Store around where u live? If ya do, flee to it, I’m sure they’ll have a good variety. God Bless!!

Bebo Norman, Third Day and Mark Schultz are my favorites!

For music with that Catholic flair, go to:

Catholic Music Network

Omega Rock - they have free online radio so you can see what kind of music they have.

Next Wave Faithful

HeartBeat Records

(Yeah, I’m kinda a music-buff!) 👍

check out www.spiritandsong.com for catholic artistsCurtis Stephan has a new cd called Sacred Revolution that is good with a range of styles from rock to Latin that works together. His earlier cd Through the Storm has rock also. He and Jesse Manibusan co-wrote the theme song for the last NCYC conference called “Winds of Change.”

Have you ever heard Fr. Stan Fortuna? He is sort of more hardcore Catholic hip-hop. Definitely interesting and directed toward a young audience talking about serious stuff that interests them in his lyrics.

YES!!
I love them! Have you ever seen either one of them in concert? I’ve seen Mark Shultz and Third Day but not Bebo Norman. They both give excellent performances.

I’ve heard of most of those music artists, but I’ve only heard Jeremy Camp & Kutless’s music. Jeremy Camp is awesome. 👍 “I Know You’re Calling” is probably my fave Jeremy Camp song. I saw Kutless in concert last year.

My favorite Christian music artist is Hawk Nelson.

Omgosh!
You’ve seen Kutless in concert! I am so jealous of you right now:rolleyes:. Jeremy Camp is so awesome, though! Yeah he rocks my sox off. 🙂

My favorite Christian group is Avalon. They have a variety of songs, some slow ballads, some with more of a beat.
