This links to a reading selection from Fr. Thomas Rauch’s *Pope Benedict XVI: An Introduction to His Theological Vision. *
The Holy Father is an “enormously competent” theologian and I for one needed to get an overview of his numerous (over one hundred) publications. I think Fr. Rauch’s book does a fairly good job of that although I had to scratch my head here and there at some of the criticisms he seems to favor (Luke Timothy Johnson’s off the reservation comments on sexuality and the Church seem to push the envelope somewhat.) Pay close attention to the footnotes when you read it. But this will give you a good overview of the book:

I notice there are a plethora of titles that appear to have the same objective in mind as this book. This was one I found in my library.
