Hello all and Merry Christmas!

I haven’t read the above mentioned book but plan on buying it for myself and for a friend. My question is, if I give this book to a Methodist friend of mine is it something he can truly come away with a deeper love of Jesus without being constantly in conflict with his Protestantism? I don’t want him viewing the gift as a cheap way of conversion but as an authentic aid in walking closer with Jesus and making more clear the historical and scriptural significance.

Thanks for any help you can give!

You’ll want to supply them a book that explains that book.

Thanks for the suggestion! Is this the book you had in mind or is there a better option available?

Yes, that is the book. I have read Jesus of Nazareth and LOOOOOVEED it.

It is simply brilliant and profound. But then that is just what one can expect from our wonderful Pope…

Depending on how immersed the person is in theology and spiritual reading, he might not need the study guide. It is quite accessible on its own.

But I have had comments from friends who found it not that easy to comprehend.

But it truly is a treasure.
