I am new to the forum and i am glad to be part of this. I am from Zimbabwe, a beautiful country, now well known for the wrong reasons.

In line with the calling of the Bishops Conference, i wish to invite all concerned friends of Zimbabwe out there to please remember in you prayers our country. Suffering is extreme, but we are not without hope.

I am a Catholic Writer, currently setting up a website, Praying Friends of Zimbabwe. We will be launching the website soon. Zimbawe has a population of about 13million people. it is in southern africa. Over six million Zimbabwean have crossed the border. these are capable and skilled people.

i wish to invite all concerned friends of zimbabwe and zimbabweans in diaspora who want to be part of the Praying Friends of Zimbabwe Prayer Project to get in tounch with me at freedomconnect@yahoo.co.uk or bereidentity@yahoo.com cellnumber 263 11 799 009

The project is essentially to pray for Zimbabwe as the Bishops called for. Our bishop by that calling have started suffering persecution from the state which has declared war against the social teaching of the Church. Its is a volatile moment for the Church and there is need to bring together a praying army, to pray, encourage and comfort, for Christ ‘desires that none should perish.’

If you believe God loves Zimbabwe, then you are a friend. Please spare a moment to pray. we also remember our friends in Kenya who recently plunged into turmoil. God has got a plan, but somebody must lift the cross of Christ and remind the world that no flag must be lifted higher that the Cross of Christ.

Hear O Africa! The Lord our God, is One! There is no other. In him is your redemption.

I thank you all servants of Christ for your compassion towards the suffering.
