Islam claims that Jesus was a very important prophet, they call him ISA. There are major differences with the Historical and Christian Jesus non the less.

No. Ecumenism of blood. Christians united by the.blood of many martyrs.
The.enemy sees them.as Christians , following and loving Jesus, not as Catholics ,
Baptists ,Lutherans ,etc.
They are killed for being Christian .

You are right.

At some point I read on its own:

“Look at the martyrs of today,” said the Pope. “Look at the blood of men and women who die for Jesus Christ and those who kill them know they are the same, having one thing in common: they believe in Jesus!”

But, when the paragraph you quote is added then it is clear he is referring to Christians of different faith.
