Pope John Paul II and the abuse scandals?

Does anyone know the specifics regarding the sex-scandal allgeations leveled against PJP11? Is there any truth to his participation or complicity either directly or indirectly? I just refuse to believe it, at least until the undeniable truth is presented. Little help pleas if you are privy to this kind of info.?

why would anyone want to engage in the sins of detraction and calumny of Blessed John Paul II to satisfy someones prurient interest. and is it just me,why can’t people type out his full name ? doe’s it really take that much more time ?

Sins of detraction??? :confused: I am a catholic!!! I simply want to be able to defend blessed Pope John Paul 11, when challenged by non-catholics, such as my sister, who is making such ridiculous claims. Do you know what she is talking about??? My internet search does not really lead to anything definitive. By the way, I do not believe anything she is saying!!!
 
If your sister made the claims, it is up to your sister to back up those claims.

my apologies , i have not been expressing myself very clearly lately.i should have phrased it differently,i see no reason to repeat detractions and calumnies against the Blessed John Paul.this garbage can be found on the web, he needs no defense from us.people who use this filth against the Church usually can’t be reasoned with.again,my apologies.
 
Not to nitpick (but here I go anyway) - 11 (eleven) is a different number than II (two).

There is no such person as Pope John Paul 11, and therefore, he could not have been involved in any kind of sex scandal. 😉

Hey april, no need to apologize; I completely understand! I was hoping to get something definitive from a reliable source, (as opposed to anti-catholic bashers with their obvious agendas) and this forum is usually pretty reliable. Perhaps I will check out the EWTN site. 👍
