I did not realize there was a brief reconciliation between the Roman Catholic
church and the Orthodox in the 15th century before they once again came to a
disagreement.
Pope Paul VI was the first Pope to fly. I didn’t realize that either.

Yes, they almost reunified at the Council of Florence-Ferrara, but I think the reporter exaggerated saying that they did reunify.
