I have just seen the report on the news about the Holy Fathers state of health. As you probably know already, the Holy Father appeared at the window of his Hospital today to bless the crowd and to let us know of his deep desire to be with us and united to us in prayer.
It then showed a shot of him following the Angelus from the Vatican in the hospital. What happened next riased both my eyebrows:
When they reached the part “The Word was made flesh, and dwelt amongst us” the Pope up raised both hands. He then looked right up with much opened eyes towards heaven. His face seemed to show recognition and suprise. He then closed his eyes and went very deeply into prayer as the Hail Mary was recited. To me it was as if he was in the actual presence of someone from Heaven??
Might be a bit far fetched for some but it is my very deep gut feeling that we captured a moment of intense emotion, a moment of something very supernatural.
