I read this in our local paper yesterday. Here’s a news link:

What bothers me is that the one of the guys instigating the split can’t seem to understand that it’s the lack of a hierarchial leadership that’s causing it.

I’m also bothered by this guy calling Paul’s epistles “feedback.”

What I find even more disturbing is that this guy states that the early Churches in Ephesus, Rome, Corinth, etc… did not answer to a heirarchal authority. Wow, what a liar. And if he really does believe this, he is so ignorant of history it is sad.

There is only **ONE **truth.

I wonder how these Churches account for the fact that there are so many different interpretations and opinions of what the ONE truth is.

A man can’t start a Church only God can and that is the RCC 👍

It starts with compromise. It all starts with women pastors. Every denomination who has put a woman on the pulpit has had to fight the homosexual issue.

This is my favorite quote highlighting just one of many reasons I believe the Catholic Church is the one true church…
A church resolution states “homosexuality is incompatible with Christian teaching,” but the national denomination holds that each church has “soul liberty,” which allows them to interpret scripture as they believe correct.
If each church interpreted the scriptures as correct, wouldn’t they all have the same views and values?

Another example of “Made in America” religion. Don’t like something? Find someone with whom you agree to begin your own church. That is why there are over 30,000 non-Catholic denominations out there. Besides, we’ve got to find jobs for all those people graduating from divinity schools. It never dawns on these people to look at the Catholic Church and the reason is simple: They’ve been brainwashd to be anti-Catholic their entire lives.
