Hello everyone! Somehow, deciding to particpate in Lent for the first time to learn to pray and read my bible every morning has led to me debating converting to catholicism. This is something I’ve been praying about and reading about. I feel like i tend to just leave my faith to good days and holidays and that I need to make my faith my life, not make my faith work around my life and hobbies and when i feel like it.
Also, for context, as a kid/teen my mom took us to a local southern baptist church but we haven’t attended one regularly, even rarely, in years.
If you want to read my long and detailed explanation, here it is. Its Lent and when i found out it was lent, i was initially quite skeptical and such as usual until something came up on a bible app i have on my phone teaching what Lent is. So after reading that and praying over it, i felt led to participate. To dedicate my mornings to prayer and reading my bible. Not traditional, but its what i feel like God is calling me to do right now.
Just…in short, if you would please pray for me for guidance. I don’t want to make the wrong decisions or do it with the wrong mindset, for the wrong reasons.
