Mine is last night when I told my 5-yo that we were there to wish Jesus a happy birthday and he thought we were going to sing him the birthday song.

Runner up would be the time I shined a red flashlight in my little sister’s window when she was getting to the age of questioning Santa.

Well, had I children, I think we would have sing “Happy Birthday, Jesus”. I’m trying to remember something with my dad in it, but I’m drawing a blank (my father died when I was very young). I got one that’s, kind of frustrating. When my nephew was younger, my mother got him an art kit (my whole family likes to colour and draw, and some even paint except me, apparently, although, sometimes I colour), and, he, like a lot pf boys, likes Marvel superheroes. When, it was a Marvel superhero art kit, so, I thought he would like it, and so did my mother. Instead, he opens his presents, starts pouting, and says "I didn’t get what I wanted’. Eventually, he was fine with it. He’ll be ten next year, and his older sisters now act more whiny than he does. Not so much cute, but it is a Christmas story, it did happen, it sticks out in my mind, and I do remember it. Oh, I do have another one. I’m 1/8 Swedish, so that would have made my dad 1/4. And because of that, his family were like members of some Scandinavian club. This is where they had their Christmas parties. That’s mostly what I remember about my dad at Christmas. Anyway, one of his relatives, I couldn’t tell you who, told my siblings and I (my youngest sisters have a different father, so weren’t around yet), that they had just moved or their chimney was closed, or something like that, and that Santa kicked their door in.
