Just post some Christmas music. I’m starting by posting some random music from a collection of The Piano Guys’ music; I’d never heard of them until just a few minutes ago, but they’re good. Just post one or more Christmas songs/music that goes with the season; anything you like, it doesn’t have to be by The Piano Guys:

Ah, Christmas music. I’ve always been a fan of it.
Anyways, here is what I will call Dougbro1’s Christmas Selections, Volume 1!
Some humour for the Christmas season

Another one by the same artist

Considering that we’re still in Advent, might as well post some songs from an Advent album.

And here’s the First Noel!

That’s all I’m putting in this post, but I will definitely return to post some more later.

Post-Christmas I usually listen to or at least think of this one:

Because
  • it’s from back when U2 were actually a good band and Bono wasn’t annoying
  • when it was new, my college radio station and the other college radio station in town were the only two stations in our whole large metropolitan area playing it
  • and we played the heck out of it on everybody’s show that New Year’s.
This song is for when I want to remember all the holidays I felt miserable:

These two are for when I want to remember high school holidays and my best friend who sadly fell out of touch with me and then died last year (and I found out she was dead on last Christmas Day, that was fun, not). We liked both of these songs and had about a million little in-jokes about them.

After my friend and I hadn’t seen each other for 8 years, we ran into each other at the library. He later confided to me that whenever he heard Same Auld Lang Syne he used to think of me.

We got married 2 years after that. 😊
Thirty two years ago.

Well, I did not consider posting Robert Earl Keene’s Merry Christmas from the Family because if you have ever heard it… well you would know why. 😏
