Can someone PLEASE tell me why my posts about US/Europe were flagged and removed? Who was offended? Anyone? …anyone?

That’s all mostly accurate. Except the boyfriend’s car is more realistically a BMW.

I had a friend in college who had grown up on Menorca. He said Americans think all Europeans are sophisticated, and Europeans think all Americans are James Dean

My b. I recalled having read somewhere that people outside the U.S. don’t eat PB&J, and are shocked at the amount of peanut butter we eat.

And from what I’ve been able to tell, there’s no way to ask the mods.

It doesn’t make sense to me at all. With all the hurtful comments that are posted on CAF, something completely innocuous gets flagged? What’s happened to this place?

I’ve been suspended twice.

I’ve had posts removed for no apparent reason other than the generic, “violated the rules.”

I may as well ban myself because posting on CAF has become like walking through an unmarked minefield.

Whatever. From now on, I’ll be sure to keep to the focus of the threads to ensure that they remain purely within the boundaries.

Actually, there is. Asking doesn’t guarantee an answer, but you can certainly ask.
