What is the correct posture during Adoration? If there are readings (Gospel, prayers of the faithful) should we be upstanding? I find it very difficult to stand during these times.

You do what you are able to do. For example, I cannot kneel without doing physical damage, so I don’t. It doesn’t make my worship less efficacious.

Any posture you are comfortable with. Sometimes people even fall asleep. If there is Benediction , let the priest and congregation guide you in copying their responses and posture

you should do what is comfortable for you – and what is safe, too. Bring an extra cushion to sit on, if you need it. Your presence is more important than your posture.

I’ve only ever been to silent adoration with benediction. If I ended up at an adoration with reading, prayers, etc. I’d probably follow the congregation’s lead.

I was injured for a time this year and I wasn’t able to stand or kneel without some difficulty. I just sat. No one said anything about it. I see elderly or ill people sitting through mass without anyone saying anything or being bothered.

You should do what you are physically able. Don’t worry.
