Poverty (bible)?

Hi,

I pray each day for people in poor countries that god may help them in difficult time’s especially these times when the world recession is happening. I also help in charity work, in every way possible but I wish more older teenagers like I would do some help for others in other countries! I have some questions about the poverty, plx help me to understand these questions

1)I just wondering does god hear by prayers especially these prayer requests??

1. Why does god not stop poverty?

3)So many children in poor countries are suffering from malnutrition and are dying because of this!

1. However what does the bible say about people helping people in poor counties, charity etc.

5)Will god help us in our life?

6)Will it increase your chances of getting to heaven??

God hears all our prayers. He will answer our prayers according to His good pleasure. God is pleased when we are concerned about our suffering brothers and sisters. It is His will that we pray for one another and help one another.

1. Why does god not stop poverty?

Poverty is not the biggest problem of humanity. We don’t know how God is intimately blessing the poor in their souls. God’s heart is certainly close to the suffering. Oftentimes the poor receive much spiritual blessing although unknown to others. In the end God will right all the wrongs and give to each person what they deserve. God certainly is in control of every situation. How He chooses to work in people’s lives is not always comprehensible to us. But we can trust that He causes everything to work for the eternal good of souls.

3)So many children in poor countries are suffering from malnutrition and are dying because of this!

The Lord inspires many like you to have compassion on the poor. It’s only right that children of God have mercy on the poor and the suffering.

1. However what does the bible say about people helping people in poor counties, charity etc.

The Bible clearly teaches us to help the poor. Jesus says we will be judged according to how we have treated our fellow human beings. Whatever we do to our neighbor, we are doing it to Jesus.

5)Will god help us in our life?

He certainly does. If He doesn’t, then our lives would have gone off the deep end. He will not try anyone beyond what they can bear, but we must trust in Him in order to receive His help and be comforted by Him.

6)Will it increase your chances of getting to heaven??

We go to heaven because of God’s mercy not because of what we do. However for the benefit of our soul, we must do what is good, right, and merciful. We cannot ignore the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to help others.
