Hello my brothers and sisters.
I am an 18 yr old man. Throughout my life I have had to deal with spiritual battle. Even since I was a young boy. Things were never easy in my battles with the evil one, and thy still aren’t. Two people very close to me were possessed. It’s nothing like holywood shows it but it can be similar in some situations. I often would pray and still feel helpless. There are times when you see the demons themselves and they physically attack. I desired to be able to fight this. I prayed to God for a sword, one in which was burning with the fire of the Hold Spirit.
One day when the demon manifest in the person very close to me I had the urge to say “Lord Jesus Christ fortify my armor, strengthen my shield and inflame my sword with the power of the Holy Spirit.” The demon shrunk back in fear as I thrusted towards the heart of the person I love, in reality the unseen enemy within. At that moment the demon disappeared after they made a loud nose of pain. Anytime I stab someone who I know is possessed even without thier knowledge of my actions they hunch over and grab at thier heart.
I thank God for this but the demon began to speak saying that it wasn’t afraid and so I prayed for Jesus to work through me directly. I prayed that instead of hearing my voice they demons would here the voice of Jesus and when they looked into my eyes they would see the eyes of Jesus. As soon as I spoke the the demon inside my loved one began to tremble. Then said “Jesus? You sounds just like him you sound just like Jesus! How!?” I looked directly into her eyes and she said “you are so scary!” To this day anytime I look into the eyes of a possessed person they get so frightened and start to squirm.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
Ever since the high of these events I have been plagued with temptation and sickness. I have lost almost everyone of my friends. Is this the Cost of being close to God? How can I over come these temptations? How can I get over the loneliness that this road beings?
Any guidance, friendship or comments would be appreciated.
God bless,
Adrian
