According to a certain gentleman who appeared on the EWTN program The World Over with Raymond Arroyo some years ago, there can’t social justice without moral justice.
Social justice is a part of Catholic social teaching. Coming to terms with that is necessary to advance a truly Catholic approach to society and politics. That the term has been hijacked by some doesn’t mean the concept itself is wrong.
Makes sense to me. Now some people are going to have a moral compass that we don’t agree with or even against church teaching. But the statement on it’s face I feel is correct.
