Praise and thanks to our Lord

I live in the country in Texas. My husband and I were checking our garden to see how everything is going because of all the rain.
I was walking by the fence and looking at what my husband was doing when I looked to my right and if I had taken another step I would have landed on a rattlesnake that was trying to warn me away!
I know the Father, Son and Holy Spirit lead and guide me. Our Mother intercedes for me. Thank You Lord Jesus for taking care of me in my need. Whenever I’m in trouble You always respond.
Let me always follow You in truth.

Maggie, That is so very cool! During the year I was in Korea there were countless times that I have to Thank God for. Even simple things like giving us good weather while we were in the field.

Driving in Korea is very dangerous. Everytime I would get into my car I would say a pray to my guardian angle. There was a small amount of snow fall one morning, only about 4 inches, but Korea has no road clearing equipment AT ALL, plus the folks over there have no idea how to drive in the snow. I unfortunately had to drive one of my soldiers to the airport. Needless to say, my guardian angle also has snow chains. There were so many times that we were narrowly missed by sliding vehicles. My soldier commented on how he didn’t understand how we had been missed. I told him it was simple, that God was watching out for us.

I’m just so ashamed at all the years I’ve wasted, but I take every opportunity I have now to ask for help and then to return Thanks and Praise to the wonderful loving God that we have.

Isn’t it wonderful how our Lord and our wonderful Mother watch out for us. There are so many times in my life that I know they kept me from harm by me doing things that were totally out of character for me. I too wasted many years not even thinking about Their roll in my life.
I know since I’ve been back that even when I turned my back on my God, He didn’t turn his back on me.
