During Lent, all parishes in the diocese offer Confession on Wednesday nights from 7-8:30pm. I arrived around 7:10 and there were 12 or 13 people ahead of me. I came out of the confessional around 9pm and there were still 5 or 6 people in line!

Here’s to a good Holy Week 👍

Praise be Jesus Christ!

For this shows how great God loves us, that not only is it sufficient that he send His Son to die a most excruciating death for our sins, but that He should allow us to repent through the sacrament of Holy Confession, even if we shall keep sinning until the end of our days, and that after having been cleansed from sin, He shall give us His royal Son’s Body and Blood in the Holy Sacrifice of the Altar, to eat and drink, to strengthen us on our spiritual journey, till our last day.

Amen! We pray more people frequent this sacrament! God bless!
