Studies show that prayer works, even if people are not believers, even if people do not know that others are praying for them. Do you “pray always”? Got any tips? Any answers to prayer you’d like to share? And how, in the light of this injunction, can any Catholic forum not include a hot zone for prayer requests?

Keep me and mine in prayer, please. “ORA ET LABORE.” St. Benedict had it right. Pray first, then work. May the Most Holy Trinity lavishly bless all those who minister in prayer. AMEN

One of the best ways to make your whole day a prayer is by praying the Morning Offering each day:

Dear Jesus, through the Immaculate heart of Mary I offer you my day – my works, my rest, my prayers, my joys, my sufferings – in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass said throughout the world, for the intentions of Your Most Sacred Heart, in reparation for our sins, for my friends and family, for the intentions of Our Holy Father, Pope John Paul II, and for (any special intention).

Pray always as preach always, and when necessary use words.

Offer up all your daily actions to God in your morning prayer and the whole day will be a prayer to God.

the morning offering prayer is taped to my refridgerator so when I reach in for the cream for my morning coffe I always see and remember. This one is also taped next to it…

There will always be days I’ll never forget
they may bring me joy,or pain and regret
But whatever the weather may bring me today,
There’s nothing like sorrow to teach me to pray.
The sunshine seems brighter when dark clouds have gone,
I’ll go forward bravely, keep Faith, carry on.

I shall be a defender of Mary

From an old priest I much admire…

For whenever you are just “about town”

“May God bless you womever you are and whatever you’re doing”

I’ve always really liked that.
