Pray for Denmark, whose Government is about to kill all 17 million of their minks

Minks are small relatives of the weasels, bred in massive farms for their fur.
Beause of a coronavirus mutation found in these minks, the Danish Government has declared they will kill every single one of them for fear they will spread it to humans.

It is bizarre, intellectually desolate and evil.

Please pray for compassion, courage, and wisdom for the Danes, and for the minks.

They won’t succeed, in my view. In Britain we have been trying for years to eradicate the population of released or escaped American mink (they have close to wiped out the native water vole population) but without success.
 
Dear Lord, please allow all killed minks to play in your heavenly fields with all the other animals who die at the hands of humans, including all minks previously killed in the course of regular fur farming.

In Jesus’ Name I pray that you please bring about the end of the Danish mink farming industry and guide the farmers into new occupations that will be more respectful of your creation and better for humans.

The minks in this case are on fur farms; they would have been killed for their pelts anyway.
 
Oh, goodness. I hadn’t realised people still wore mink. Seems unnecessary.
