Pray for Dianne with metastatic breast cancer

Please pray for the healing and care of my nephew’s fiancé, Dianne who recently learned that she has a number of tumors in her brain. They have advanced their wedding to tomorrow before she has surgery.

God of healing mercy, in Jesus your Son
you stretch out your hand in compassion, restoring
the sinner, healing the sick, and lifting up those
bowed down.

Embrace now in your loving care, Dianne and all others afflicted with cancer, for whom this intention
is offered. May the Spirit of Jesus bring us all health
in soul and body, that with joy and thanksgiving we may praise you for your goodness, through the same Jesus Christ our Lord.

Holy Mary, help those in need, give strength to the weak, comfort the sorrowful, pray for God’s people, assist the clergy, intercede for religious. May all who seek your help experience your unfailing protection.

Dear Lord be Dianne’s protector and defender in this time of trouble. Surround them with the Holy Angels, so that they may emerge from every danger in the fullness of health and well being. Guide their life journey, so they will always walk safely together with you, in God’s protection and friendship.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal ( Dianne). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Dianne’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Prayer to St. Anthony for Those With Cancer

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus as the Divine Healer. In your goodness and kindness, please intercede for Dianne, who is suffering from cancer. If it is God’s will, may the gift of healing be granted to him. Comfort him during times of unbearable pain, and ask our Lord to grant him peace and patience in suffering. May God give him the fullness of life here on earth. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

St. Agatha, woman of valor,
from your own suffering we have been moved
to ask your prayers for those of us who suffer from breast cancer.

We place Diane before you,
and ask you to intercede on their behalf.

From where you stand in the health of life eternal,
all wounds healed,
and all tears wiped away,
pray for Diane
and all of us.

Pray God will give us His holy benediction of health and healing.
And, we remember you were a victim of torture
and that you learned, first hand,
of human cruelty and inhumanity.

We ask you to pray for our entire world.
Ask God to enlighten us
with a “genius for peace and understanding.”

Ask Him to send us His Spirit of Serenity,
and ask Him to help us share
that peace with all we meet.

From what you learned
from your own path of pain,
ask God to give us the Grace we need
to remain holy in difficulties,
not allowing our anger
or our bitterness to overtake us.

Pray that we will be more peaceful and more charitable.
And from your holy pace in our mystical body, the Church,
pray that we, in our place and time will, together,
create a world of justice and peace.
