Please pray for Kevin, a prisoner who is struggling right now. His best friend has left the jail and his heart is heavy. Pray that he keeps his faith that God will answer his prayers. He has severe abandonment issues from his childhood, and this is a very painful experience for him. I am not there to comfort him, either and my heart is heavy, too.

I will offer my Rosary today for this intention. God Bless,

Kevin was abandoned by his mom in a store when he was a little boy. He ended up as a child drug mule in another country and later on was a drug dealer, which is why he is in prison. He has really worked to make changes, but the atmosphere of this particular place is toxic towards recovery. Only my prayer can reach out to him now, and I ask all of you to please offer a moment for this man, whom God compels us to love.

Yes, it breaks my heart, too. His story is really awful, and the abuses he suffered clearly led him to where he is- nine years in jail after such a terrible childhood! I cannot visit, and I’m afraid to even write to him because I do not want to have his parole jeopardized by communicating with a staff member, even if I am not now employed there. I was told about his sadness, and all either of us has is prayer, I have no other answer.
This is a situation where faithful prayer is the only recourse, so I am imploring for his benefit and that God will make Himself known to him.

Is it possible to have a priest visit with him? Just a thought… I will pray for Kevin now.

I Will say the chaplet of DIVINE MERCY for Kevin and for all prisoners,May God grant them all, HIS mercy.

I will be saying a Divine Mercy Chaplet for Kevin and all the other prisoners today. May God Bless all of them.

St. Maximillian Kolby intercede on this prisoner’s behalf. Remember how you were imprisoned and pray that this prisoner knows the love and committment of Jesus that you knew when you chose to be executed so another prisoner with a family could live.
