Pray for marriages tormented by adultery and addictions

Dear Jesus, please look down on those of us who have been left by our spouses due to adultery, addictions or any other sin waged against the unions You elevated to a Sacrament. Please heal our marriages and convert the sinners. We know there is Sanctifying grace for us.

Help us to live in such a way that we can become the spouses we need to be and end our suffering and that of our children. Please turn the predators who prey on marriages with the blessing of the evil one to Your grace instead. Our children, little or adult (and in many cases grandchildren) are suffering so. We pray that You will show this world that accepts these sins so readily that You hate divorce and want marriages whole. With good marriages there would be less crime and certainly fewer abortions. Inspire your Church to help us and not just to “heal and move on” after divorce.

God bless all you who are suffering in any way. Jesus accepts our suffering even to convert the sinners who hurt us.

Praying daily for hurting marriages to be healed around the world.
 
Dear Jesus, please pour out your love onto those who have suffered the pain of broken marriages.
Have mercy on them and their spouses, and help them to fill their hearts with the same loving forgiveness you grant to us. Warm their hearts with your eternal love, so that they may share that warmth and love with each other and their families when difficult times are upon them. Comfort them during these difficulties, Lord, that they may walk hand in hand with you through their trials.
Amen.
