Pray for me I am struggling with sin

I do not fit in at the 12 step meetings near my house. They are proud of doing time in prison, brag about fighting and illicit sex, and go into detail about using IV drugs. I live in a bad neighborhood and am offered to buy marijuana and meth several times a week. Sometimes neighbors even stop by offering me marijuana. I do not do any hard drugs and the people who do those in my neighborhood are often thieves and prostitutes. I have been going longer without smoking marijuana but I have trouble saying no when it is freely offered to me. I am celibate, pray often, go to Mass daily but I just keep messing up. I am not a daily user.

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (faustjeff4). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.

You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from

the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into faustjeff4’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

O Lady of Mental Peace,

Mother of Tranquility

and Mother of Hope,

look upon faustjeff4 in this time

of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart

to know that God’s Love

for her is unchanging and

unchangeable, and, that

true human love can only

begin and grow by touching

His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -

which this world cannot give

I went to confession today and my priest said it was a venial sin not a mortal sin like this web site says. I plan to avoid amoking pot anyway. I received absolution and went to Mass.
