Pray for me, that I may find peace (porn addiction recovery)

For a long time I’ve given myself up to a porn addiction. It’s led me down a dark path and I’ve found myself in a constant state of fear, self loathing, OCD and guilt. I’ve given it up and I’m taking it one day at a time, but I need to be strong. I can’t undo the past, but I can forgive myself for it, the way I hope God forgives me.

I ask that you pray for me, that I may have peace of mind, and that I may be strong.

I had 17 years of horrible struggles with pornography, to the point where I couldnt even have a decent family gathering and not think about it, I recommend going to confession and confessing all of it, I confessed all of my fetishes, all of the times I had masturbated, all of the times even In public, I had lusted or got drunk had sexual perversions, it began to get so dark that I was on the edge of a knife, I had enough when I went to a bdsm club, and saw that not only was there bo love in there, all the people were empty and it was a glimpse of hell for me and I wrote it down on a paper went to confession and afterwards I went to mass and the Father liberated me from the depths of the worst possible abyss that overtook my life, trust me there is an extreme satisfaction after you confess, its free and itll take away multiple sins involved. I WILL PRAY FOR YOU!!! I have been able to think about marriage and having children one day, there is hope and never feel guilty because we will never understand his mercy, we can never exhaust it. But you will find peace in Jesus.
17 years worth of sins forgiven and I can see love again

Before I forget I was also in occult practices and satanic music, everything that was against Gods will, I made Ouija boards, commubicated with the dead, went ghost hunting, crystals, shakras, astrology, ghost box, free writing, etc, and I misled people and cause them harm by using then lying to them, and I was forgiven.

I pray that our Heavenly Father provides you a boost of guidance/redirection, strength, ideas to crowd-out temptation, and other blessings.

I know how that feels. I used to view pornography 3-5 times per week. God has helped me make progress, though. What He is doing for me, He can do for you. I pray that God saves you from this addiction, in the same way that He saved me from it. Amen.
