Pray for my boyfriend's immigration

My boyfriend has applied for a working visa for Canada, so we can get married and live there. He is paying someone to find him a job and arrange his visa paperwork. We’re fairly certain the recruiter is honest, but he needs your prayers. Please, this opportunity means so much for him, and for me. If he loses this chance, he’s going to be destroyed emotionally.

Also, he is so unhappy here in Korea. He is treated badly as a migrant worker, and has been harassed, cursed, kicked, and beaten by his coworkers. He can’t make ends meet in his home country, and I watch his soul being hurt and stomped on week by week. I don’t know how much more he can take.

He can’t fight the system, or he’ll lose his working visa. He tries to be patient and humble, but I see how much he hurts inside. His soul is bleeding. He needs to get out. I can’t watch him get hurt like this, week after week. He needs this chance. I need this chance.

Please pray for him. Pray for strength and faith for him to last through this difficult time, and please pray for this opportunity to immigrate to Canada to be genuine and to happen for him. Thanks.
 
I am praying for you both. May God’s love guide you both through your trials, and May God grant your boyfriend the courage and strength to endure.

Thanks for praying for him. I really appreciate it. Tomorrow he’s going to meet with the recruiter. Oh, I pray this opportunity is for real and not some con artist out to steal his money!

A very moving post…Will be keepng your bf in daily prayer that The Lord will sustain his strength and Faith at this time of suffering and hurt and that the opportunity to immigrate to Canada will unfold very happily for him…
 
This story is nearly identical to a friend of mine’s. Their story had a happy ending. Heavenly Father, please in your mercy help Just Wondering’s boyfriend attain immigration in accord with Your holy will. May they unite soon, and practice the good works You have called us to do for the sake of Your Kingdom. Amen. :signofcross:

Thanks so much for your prayers. Yesterday he met with the recruiter, and it sounds like this is a genuine opportunity. He has to pay $1000 up front, and another $1500 on receipt of his working visa. Apparently this company has a 90% placement rate. Now I’m praying that my boyfriend can get a loan for the first payment - he only earns $1100 per month in a factory here.
