Pray for my stepson

Please pray for my stepson shaun. He is a wonderful person but because he witnessed the murder of his mother when he was 10, (he is now 19) but he 's got alot of issues that requires counselling which he declines. And when he gets mad, he’s got this intense rage, it’s almost like looking at a Dr Jekell and Mr Hide.

I am afraid this rage might one day drive him into violent reactions and consequences .And being a teenager, he needs to find a calmer place in his life. Please pray for me as well, being just the stepmother, I just watch and step aside when this happens. I can only give my love and support to him but unable to give advise for fear of being misconstrude as intruding on his personal life. I know he loves me and I love my stepson, but I feel like I am failing as a “mother” to him and unable to reach out.

Teresa, you cannot fail him, you cannot be his mother. He has a mother already, even though she has died. Remember your real roll (Step-mother) and you will not feel the failure. Now…

Father, we beg you for the
mental wellness of Shaun.
He has lived through such a
terrible tradgedy. Grant
him your special grace, and
heal his mind. Put his energy
into possitive things. Send
him your special angel to
visit and comfort, protect and
defend him against all evil.

A dreadful matter for Shaun - to have witnessed his mother’s murder - perhaps counselling, a psychologist or psychiatrist could help him resolve emotional issues and understandable emotional issues…will be keeping him in prayer…
