Pray for one another

We often wonder what we can do for others…It is not a sign of powerlessness when we say: “We must pray for one another.” to pray for one another is, first of all, to acknowledge, in the presence of God, that we belong to each other as children of the same God. Without this acknowledgement of human solidarity, what we do for one another does not flow from who we truly are…

To pray, that is, to listen to the voice of the One who call us his “Beloved,” is to learn that that voice exludes no one. Where I dwell, God dwells with me and where God dwells with me I find all my sisters and brothers.

Dearest Binney

How very true!

We do not then simply pray for Catholics, but for all humanity. All worldly powers and all nations

What we pray for most is our enemies, knowing they are made in God’s image and by severe actions reject His Image, we plead with God on their behalf to change them , to bring about a metanoia, to bring faith to them and as such change their hearts for all eternity, to mark them with His Son Christ Jesus…

Prayer is my foremost weapon…every word I say to God is in every part of my day, my life is prayer and my heart and mind is prayer…

I pray for myself somewhat but for the most part if I want to pray for myself and for God, I pray firstly for others and witness the changes and good God then works in their lives.

Deus noster refugium. The church in persecution trusteth in the protection of God.

This is who we pray to for eachother. Especially whilst the western world and indeed the whole world is in turmoil. And who knows what persecutions lie around the corner for the faithful. I agree. We must pray for eachother- that we have the necessary fortitude to persevere to the end.
