Pray for the Family of a Drowning Victim

A major road near my work was closed today due to a recovery operation. They only recently found the body of the drowning victim this afternoon. Please pray for the man’s family. This isn’t the first time that someone has drowned in that area either. The creek has claimed at least 5 lives within the last decade.
 
Rest in Peace

Eternal rest grant unto a drowning victim, O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon them.

And may the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Praying this man may rest in peace and that family and friends will find comfort in each other and our Lord.

Lord please have mercy on the soul of the deceased person, and console his family.
Please protect others from a similar death in this dangerous area. Thank You Lord.
 
Heavenly Father,

We pray for the repose of the soul of the man who tragically lost his life today. We pray for his family, friends, and all those who are affected by his death. We pray that he is now seated at your right hand in the kingdom of heaven where he will live free of pain. Lord, although tragedies as this happen we know that it is your will that is done and we trust in your plan.

Heavenly Father, we offer these prayers in the name of your son our risen Lord, through the intercession of his most holy mother, the queen of our faith and the mother of mercy;

Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (the Family of a Drowning Victim), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. I will be saying the Rosary in a few minutes for all intentions I tag in this forum now; adding yours to the list. May Christ the Consoler ease the suffering of this family and may Our Lady of Sorrows and St. Joseph pray for them. May God also grant eternal rest to the drowning victim and let His heavenly light shine upon him and let him rest in peace. In Jesus’ Name I humbly pray, Amen.
