Pray that I get an internship

Yesterday I got an email for internship/volunteer opportunities from my university doing clinical research and today I sent in my résumé and letters. I was blest to have a nice lady who volunteers with me on Friday who helps people with resumes regularly. Now, pray that I get either one of these. I am a pre-med student and I really need research experience and letters of recommendation. I have not had any yet, but, I need to make my start somewhere and I’ve been volunteering for both a hospital and a hospice this summer to strengthen my résumé. Pray that it all pays off.

I hope your volunteer work in the hospital and for hospice WILL pay off and help you receive an internship. You make a good point about starting somewhere and I pray this will be your place to start.

I remember my daughter years ago in your shoes, and now she is finishing up premed this year and also interviewing for medical school as a senior. So now IS the time to get things started and I pray you will be blessed!~

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Wow, thank you! Good luck to your daughter as well.

I really hope that people who hire interns are willing to take a chance on newbies with little experience. I mean, how else will they get future researchers if they never give them their first shot?
 
Thanks everyone, keep the prayers coming. One researcher emailed me back to thank me for applying and that I should get an answer next week. Then, I recognized the typo I made in the subject line of the email that I probably sent. I proofed my cover letter, résumé, but, accidentally left out a letter in the subject line. I hope that does not tarnish the whole thing. People make typos, but, I’m still worried about it.
 
Praying. . . . Prayer of Apology and Thanksgiving because of forgetfulness to say “thank You” to Our Lord for all the blessings He pours on us and we do not even realize it. The thread could also be closed before we know it and I want to get the “thank You” in. 😉 🙂
