Pray the Luminous Mysteries with the Pope Today

The Pope has invited all the Italian bishops and all the faithful to pray with him the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary today, St. Joseph’s Day, to stop the spread of the virus. He is praying at 9:00 p.m. in Rome, so you could adjust the time to your area (3:00 p.m. here).

4 pm Eastern time, I was planning to pray along, thanks for the reminder.

If one cannot pray with the Pope at his own time of 9 pm then you can pray at 9 pm in your own time zone.
 
We pray God be merciful on us during this difficult period. I look foward to the rosary in 40 minutes.

Did anyone else watch the live feed from Italy? If so…
  • Have you been able to find a translation of Papa’s message before the Rosary?
  • Do you know what the prayer intentions were?
  • And what about the prayers from St. Catherine of Siena and St. Francis–any idea what those were?
Despite not knowing Italian, it was a wonderful experience. A great reminder that even in these times of social distancing, we’re still one in Christ and under the protection of Our Lady & St. Joseph.
