I recently decided to join a weekly prayer chain through my parish. I will receive a weekly email with a list of individuals I am to pray for. I am unsure what prayer to say for these individuals. Thanks.
Usually with the list you get a reason why they are on it: Upcoming surgery, illness, loss of a loved one, a failing marriage, trouble with teenagers Etc. It is easier to pray, if you know what the request is for. You can use a simple prayer for each or pray a rosary for them.
May God bless you for giving your time in prayer for others. Jesus said that the we would be shown the amout of mercy that we show for others.
