Hi there
I would like to ask a favour from everybody on the forum if that’s possible? I have been going through an annulment process for nearly two years now, which has been been pretty difficult, and I appear to be entering the latter stages of it. I was wondering if you could all keep me in your prayers? I’m just waiting for a letter asking me for any ‘concluding arguments’ then it goes for the first judgement.
Unfortunately I’ve found myself in a position that I never thought I would ever be in. My ex, who was a convert, decided one morning that she didn’t want to be married anymore and left me. We had only been married for two years. She fell pregnant 3 months after leaving me. I’m 35 and at the difficult stage of seeing friends and family members settling down and having families of their own and I’ll be honest and say that I am finding it really difficult. I must have bored all of my friends and family with my divorce because over two years on it’s still something I talk about on a regular basis.
Anyway, I was wondering if the members of the forum could say a prayer for me as I come up for the decision on my annulment please? I started a prayer circle a couple of months ago that included 10 close friends and family members where we said a novena to St Rita. We prayed for a happy outcome to my annulment but to have the strength and courage to handle the situation no matter what the outcome is.
If anybody out there has actually went through an annulment you will know that nothing is ever certain no matter how strong a case you feel you have. I would just like to be able to move on with my life.
Thank you in advance.
